a man drove at an average of 50 mph for a total of 12 hrs and 30 mins during a 2 day trip he drove 213 miles the first day. how mAny miles did he drive the second day?

50 MPH for 12.5 hours is 625 miles.

If he drove 213 miles the first day, that leaves 412 miles to drive the second day.

50 miles for 12 and a half hours is 625 miles if he drove 213 on the first day than he droce 412 on the second day also that isnt a clear answer because ur question says and AVERAGE of 50 mph....

50 mph for 12 1/2 hr = 725 miles and then 725 minus 213 = 512 he drove the second day.

50mph for 12.5 hours is 50x12.5, =625 miles
First day =213 miles, so Second day =625-213, =412
miles.

If he drove 213 the first day, he must have driven the remaining 412 the second.
