Does Splendid Betta work?

Question

I used betta fix remedy from splendid betta, does it work? I only used it one day, which is today. My fish color is dull, there is unknow spots on its head and the fin is rotting, black and jagged. Please help!! What should i do? Should i refund it and use a better one? Or wait..

I have never had success with that product personally. The symptoms you describe sound like fin rot and possibly another bacterial infection in addition to the fin rot.

I would recommend you stop using the Splendid Betta and move to a good antibiotic. Tetracycline ( such as Maracyn TC) is normally very effective against fin rot and other external infections. Just treat as directed on the package.

I would not suggest waiting any length of time as external infections on fish can move very quickly to the fishes gills where it can cause major problems or even death quite quickly.

I agree with the previous poster about using something else, but you can't expect to get results the same day. It takes some time.
