All female mammals go into "heat" but not all animals bleed. For example, guinea pigs don't bleed while they are in heat.

All mammals do. LOOK IT UP on the web and/or ask your vet. It CAN get messy if you choose NOT to take care of your animal's sexual comfort by having them fixed or spayed. It is unkind to keep animal unneutered unless you have enough money to run a breeding operation. Hugs, Gina C.

all the female species of animals:birds,cats,dogs,rats,guinea pigs,mice yes,they all go into heat (period) and bleed.
