I would like to add that I am a Yankees fan that is 100% convinced he is staying in New York. If he wants to keep his legacy he will stay. He could go to Anaheim and be a legend but being an Angel legend is nothing like being a YANKEES legend and he will stay and be the greatest yankee whoever lived.

I'm not positive what he will do, but i know what he should do.

A-Rod should come play for SF Giants. Unlike you damn yankee fans who are quick to turn on your own players and say they arn't true yankee fans, us giants fans would do nothing but shower him with love for the rest of his career. Look at bonds everybody in the league hates him, but to us in san francisco he is a baseball God.

I saw him and bonds chatting it up durring the home run derby and i hope it was about how great it is to play in front of the greatest fans and the greatest ballpark in the majors.

Besides if A-Rod realy wants a legacy all he has to do is file that willy mays tribute from before the game tonight into the back of his mind. He could become part of an organization and fan base that does nothing but honor and treat their stars with respect.

He will stay on the Yankees and yes I too love the Yankees and A-Rod, well I'm a catcher for my team and I also like Jorge Posada and Derek Jeter, still I know 100% that he will stgay on the Yankees, but on Pardon The Inturepption they said that A-rod would be traded and that Kobe wouldn't.I dissagree with them.

Yes he will leave, the reason Yankees fans "are spoiled little Girls"
quote by many. the old time Yankee's will be remembered because back then they (didn't try to buy it) Yankees. today it has become obvious they just wanna buy it they have no concept of building a TEAM. players that play well together will keep beating the Yankees despite there suburb talent, so a-rod will leave simply because he feels hes not on a team.

If he is smart he will stay, if he keeps traveling around people won't remember how great he is. He could be a hall- of famer if he sticks with the Yankees, if he goes to another team he will just be remembered as a good player, I think he is a HUGE part of the Yankees sucess, go A-Rod!

Well, if George realizes that you can't buy a championship, then maybe A-Rod would stay.

In the meantime, Alex wants to win. Even if he hits 100HR, 250 RBI, and gets 100 stolen bases, if they dont win a championship then his 27.2 mil isnt justified in NY.

I think all the signs point to him hanging up the pinstripes. It's not just about legacy, it's about championship rings.

Myself, I'm hoping that the SF rumors are true...Bonds and A-Rod...together??? I think I need to change my pants.

He has said he wants to stay with the Yankees and we should take him at his word. For any of us to come to any other conclusion would be pure speculation.

I'm a red sox fan

A-rod is not going to opt out, There's a higher chance Barry Bonds gets 800 homers by the end of this year.

I hope A-rod opts out, but he's not going to opt out for more money like the red sox's J.D. Drew.
