If you are referring to jo smith of the mormons, well brigham young the next pres, was said to have the countance of old jo smith when there was a fight as to who was next in line to take over after smith died. Seems that brigham looked like smith so he got the job. But he could grow a beard even tho smith could not, so how could he look liek smith???
