I believe your right. And that way he does not have to negotiate with the regional countries or the religious factions in Iraq. Actually the negotiations are very hard and Bush is not smart enough to do that kind of work.
Bombing is easy diplomacy is hard.

The question should really be, what happens when congress waves the white flag and the signal it will send. First, we will see an all out civil war designed by Iran, they will of course attempt to take over the country murdering anyone who might have been sympathetic to the Iraq democracy. They will then trheaten Kuwait and their oil fields. Iran who are currently creating tunnels under their nuclear facilities wo hid them, will one day threaten Isreal and Syria wll take over the Golan Heights. NOw Saudi Arabia is threatened. And so is the world oil supply which will create a worldwide recession and make todays prices of oil seem cheap. With it's new found power and Iraqi oil revenues, state sponsored terrorisim will of course deepen. Their goal is to bring down the United States and to destroy Isreal. Anyone who does ot see this just has no concept of history or the facts as presented by statements made by the terrorists. The fact is Hillary (who will not be elected) knows this as evidenced by her refuseal to commit to any Iraq plan (she has none). The democrates have just said what they had to, to take over congress who is enjoying a lower favorable rating then the President. The failue of Iraq was in not dealing with Iran, the goal of overthrowing Hussan, establishing a democracy and a judical system has been achieved. It is the Iranian sponsored insurgents who have a great intererest in not allowing a democracy right next door to empower the already angered Iranian people most of which do not want to live in the 9th centruy and want freedoms. If you think the problem is as simple as G Bush, you are gravely mistaken. All through the 90's during the Clinton admin, terrorism was ignored and left to a judical system not a military one, even thought US interest were hit over 5 times. You canargue that the President handled the war badly, but the threat to the United States is very real.

President Bush doesn't tell the American People anything
that FOX and CNN hasn't already blown out of proportion!
The sickest thing was during the assault on Baghdad when
Press people rode in on tanks and personnel carriers reporting step by step military advance or set-backs which-
ever the case...these people in the military's way and all
the time planting deceit in the minds of the public, in my
opinion, had no business there!
Then we get these feedbacks from a few knuckle heads
who have never tried on a military uniform...much less been man enough to fill one out, telling the enemy how great it is
going for them!
God forbid the day someone like Hillary or Barrack take
the reins....there will be a cry in this country like we have
never heard in our history...times are much different now
and a 'mild mannered' leader is not what we need....even
duct tape and plastic won't help any!

History will vindicate him if America actually survives the next 50 years. If we continue on the "French Path" ( We surrender!) there won't be a country like America to bail America out of being conquered like what we did for the French. We are weak our enemies know it and the things that our ancestors accomlished will mean nothing, those who died to keep America going will have been in vein.
I am a Libretarian I don't like GW, didn't vote for him, but we have to end Terrorism if the world is going to move forward. We can't end it by passing the problem off to another generation. Which we have been doing since Pres. Eisenhower supported the Sha in Iran, that is actually why they hate us.
I am so glad I am a Texan! America will fall Texas never will.

There's no way we';ll be out of there before Jan 2009. Not totally.
Any candidate, Rep or Dem, can run on " We must leave,""Bush screwed up," whatever, and will get away with it for a while
Then, sooner or later, the "Bush's war" will give way to " so what are you doing about it." And that person better have some answers, or his presidency will be doomed from the start.
I don't think it's planned that way,. but it sure looks like it will happen that way.

Bush is an idiot. He may have been able to graduate from Harvard with an MBA but he's still an idiot.
Actually it may be that he just doesn't care. I understand that he had a terrible childhood.
I believe that the rich because of their isolation have no idea how real people are living and what they go through.

25th Amendment About To Fall On Bush?
http://cloakanddagger.ca/media/SS/Middle%20Finger%20News/25th%20Amendment%20About%20To%20Fall%20On%20Bush.htm
Cloak and Dagger has been mentioning for some time that the resident of the White House is going bonkers, because the truth of Bush’s treachery is coming out. Now it has become an ‘open secret’. Becoming evident is Bush’s deception and treason of Bush’s prior knowledge of 9-11. And the truth of his disastrous Iraqi War Policy causing great bloodshed for no American purpose.
The 25th Amendment method of removing a President who is dangerously going nuts (like Nixon talking to pictures on White House walls) and cannot carry out his duties of office is becoming a growing public concern.
Unlike Nixon, who resigned, Bush is going down the road like Soviet Dictator Josef Stalin who blamed his “Jewish doctors” as part of a plot to kill him. The doctors were later declared innocent of all charges.
But Bush’s false accusations against “HIS JEWISH DOCTORS” AND HIS JEWISH ADVISORS AND BONDHOUSE BANKERS may soon break out into the open, adding to the anti-Jewish epidemic that is sweeping the country, Nazi-era-like, at a time of vast actual unemployment.

your smoking crack pal.......................
as soon as more terrorists attack the USA at home, we will "discover" they were trained in Iraq prior to the war.
suprise..................
a justifiable and righteous war
remember.......
they buried the "N" word..................
should have also included the Nuclear N word
we may actually have "limited" and "justifiable" nuclear strikes yet.....against a hidden and entrenched enemy in the countryside of Iraq.....
if the terrorists strike in the heart of the USA and we suffer casualties in excess of 100,000 people killed................atomic war......guarenteed .............
dont be so gullible or simple minded

regardless of what he does or how he does it, his own party members are pressuring him, and yes you are right that is what he will do, but he won't get out of, he will for ever be known as the man who starting a useless war.
oh pretty much has guaranteed a democratic president in the next term, which is why everyone in his party is stepping away from him.

Probably. He will try whatever to cover his escape. It should be obvious this creep will use whatever means at his disposal to make himself and his supporters look good no matter how much the cost in American blood, integrity, or international reputation. He's defamed America and Americans in the eyes of the world to line the pockets of Corporate America.
