Does motherboard AsRock P4VM890 be compatible with any GPU GeForce 7 Series?

I have purchased motherboard AsRock P4VM890 with PCI E X 16 and would like a powerfull GPU to play games. Is this motherboard compatible with GPU GeForce 7 Series.

Is there any other characteristic to evaluate rather than the PCI E X 16 to identify the compatibility

YES, your x16 PCIe slot can take any DX9 (GF 7xxx) or DX10 (GF 8xxx) cards. Just make sure you also have a powerful power supply (w/ strong +12V rails) if you will get the 79xx, 86xx or 88xx series.
