If you use tampons they wont break your hymen. And sometimes it breaks on its own.

Yes you can wear Tampons and still be a Virgin, the tampon is to short to interfere with your hymen....just relax and buy the junior teen tampons, it takes a bit of practice but you'll be okay...can you talk to your swim coach or other team memebers?

Okay this is several questions.
Here are all you answers:
1.- Virgin- means no sexual intercourse with penetration into your female areas.
2. Hyman is not a problem, if you still have one in tact. Often times it can tear with ANY sport or strenuous activity, no just from having sexual intercourse or application of tampons.
There are even Hyman's that stay in tact for many years after wearing tampons, strange but true. Seen it.
In any regards, unless your Orthodox Jew or marrying royalty, their is not need to worry about this thin layer of membrane.
3. Tampon usage, try different sizes. Get the Tampex brand with the different sizes in one box, with applicators, they are used for different flows, not differnt "size" female areas. Trust me, even untouched by a sexual encounter, you can still put many things larger than a tampon in there. Just don't. try that .
Tampons, sponges and other insertable protection for your period or other things, take practice to do them. If you are "too dry" it hurts, so besure that you have a little moisture.
4. Don't worry about "loosing" anything "UP" there... its not possible, its a closed system about the size of the palm of your hand, so if the string gets stuck, just reach in and get it.
No worries....in a few years, you will be sharing this wealth of knowledge with another young woman.
Good luck- welcome to womanhood, it will have its bad days and its brilliant ones. The day you give birth, you will look back and every remember a bad period- its worth it for a baby. Lets see a guy to that one!

If it is too painful for you to use tampons then you can get a doctor to surgically cut the hymen for you.
