I went on an interview already for one job. The hiring manager called me back and said she would call me back on Friday to talk about when I can come on board. That basically sounds like to me that I have the job. But I could be wrong. I have an interview for another job on Thursday. I'd much rather have this job. If I get a position they'll pay 100% of college tuition. School is very important to me so this is a big deal. I won't have to come out of pocket for anything! But I don't know what to do! The 1st job's pay is good. I like that position as well, but I'd rather work the other job. I have no time to be picky though because I need a job. So what should I do? Should I tell the interviewer on Thursday the situation? Should I ask what my chances are of getting the position? But what if I do get the 1st interview job and then the 2nd as well? How would I go about leaving the 1st?!? So confused....

Don't put the cart before the horse.
Con tine in your search for employment until you have landed a job but try not to stress out so much.
Wait until you have a job and then if another offer comes in, weigh the merits of the job you already have to the one being offered.
Lots of people are looking for work, if you find a better one after landing the first one, don't worry about them because they will be able to replace you.

Allow the job to hire you until you can get an interview at the job you want. Worst case scenario you'll get paid at one job until you can get hired onto the job you want.
It's better to have a job with a backup plan than no job at all.

I would tell the interviewer and see if you could ask for a few days to decide which way to go.

Explain that you are looking for long term and want to make the right choice and that you want to be stable.

If he is professional, he will work with you.
