Make hands sun. Your child will love it.
Hands sun
Materials:
Paper plate
Colored paper
A stapler
Scissors
Colored stickers or crayons
Instructions:
Copy the child's hand onto the colored paper (make 6-8 copies).
Cut around the outline.
Let the child decorate the cut out hands with stickers or crayons.
Staple the colored hands around the paper plate.
And here you have a great sun made from the child's hand.

You can make paper doves-
Paper Dove
Materials Needed:
* Paper plate
* Scissors
* Tape
* Two plastic spoons
* Pebble
* Rubber band
* Markers
Method:
1. Cut the plate in half, then cut one half into three equal wedges. Tape one wedge to the bottom of the intact half.
2. Draw the bird's face on one spoon with the markers. Then sandwich the pebble between the two spoon bowls and bind them with the rubber band.
3. Tape the spoons to the bottom of the paper plate half.

Give him/her duplicates of pictures you have of them or family members and let them glue them on the paper - cut out shapes they can glue on too - make a mini scrapbook - my kids love to look at pictures of themselves and family - they use to carry these around when they were little!

You can make abstract art by ripping the paper and gluing them to the page [no scissors]. Afterwords you can hang the picture on your fridge or a wall.

we use to do this with my mom with the same supplies....
normally you would use scissors and cut paper into shapes..well we use to rip the paper into shapes and then paste it to another piece of paper...we would create pictures with the ripped pieces of paper...i always use to make flowers..it is extremely easy to do and lots of fun
