i dont mean on tv shows or anything though it would be cool if i could go on one of those i just wanna know if anyone ever been on a blind date and how was the experience? i'm also wondering if there's one or some that i could attend..... it's one way of meeting someone from the opposite sex, right..? i think it would be good if i could try one... but.. i dont know if there's such thing or services around me

Dont listen to the ones saying it dont work. I have gone on many blind dates and yea some were lame but not all. Dates in general are going to be lame aswell. My feeling is people are people. You're going to find good ones and bad ones no matter how you go about it. Finding the mate for you is a challenge anyway you slice it. So go about it anyway that you can. Just be safe ofcourse. Internet dating is a great idea aswell. Best wishes.

The blind date could be fun, who knows? I would say it's not the easiest first date, but it might be alright. As far as the kissing, easy move you'll master as you become older (haha I know lots of other girls who've seem to) Just when you see him moving in to kiss you, turn your cheek and let him kiss you on the cheek. If he's a decent guy, he'll get the point. If he tries to force a kiss, kick him in the junk and walk out. You are not expected to kiss on the first date, or the second, or any for that matter. Only kiss a guy when it feels right for you.

Yes, only once. I dated the guy for about 2 months. Finally I had to call it quits because of the competition...with his mirror!
He was the only man I've ever seem spend more time checking himself out in the mirror than doing anything else. Sure, he was nice looking...the only problem was that HE thought he was total hot stuff. Too into himself to be in a relationship.
Funny thing is, I found out he's now over in Iraq fighting for our country. Hope he makes it back safe. But I'd never date him again.

I never had much luck with them, usually my friends' ideas of "nice guy" were much different than my own! You could do a "singles club search" in your area.

i wouldn't ever do that, ppl are creepy these days..i might do a double blind date, i would feel more comfortable if someone i knew was with me
