They will be at least 3rd (Kansas City's QB situation is scary) but will not get more than 6 wins. I think 4 or 5 is more likely. Denver and San Diego are much too good for Oakland to manage at least 1 victory of the 4 games they'll play.

Standings
1. San Diego 14-2, 5-1 AFC West
2. Denver 11-5, 5-1 AFC West
3. Oakland 5-11, 1-5 AFC West
4. Kansas City 4-12, 1-5 AFC West

honestly I dont think they have a shot at the division....they will improve upon last year, but at the best a 500 season and that wont cut it in the AFC especially the AFC West. Now if we played in the NFC there would be a shot. For the moron talking crap about Al Davis hiring a young coach and blah, blah, blah......well there was once a very young coach in Oakland by the name of John Madden. Maybe you've heard of him. Youth is not a sign of lack of knowledge. Besides, if it doesnt work out, we'll just get Bill Cower in the off season!

6 wins would be tops, but I don't see that happening. They still have no offense line. I don't care how good Russell turns out to be, he won't get the job done without some better blocking. They'll be last in the AFC West again, but they'll win more than 2 games. I'm thinking 5-11, but they'll go 0-6 against the AFC West again - toughest division in football.

Chargers: 11-5
Donkeys: 10-6
Chiefs: 8-8
Raiders: 5-11

Oaklan RAIDERS! All the way, they only need to score atleast ten points to win every game. With the D, McCown, the receiving corps., and Jamarc Russell. Besides KC is going through a new QB, SD has a new coach, and Denver is rallying behind cutler. Expect the Raiders to be smart and run the ball 60% percent to beat up teams on O and D!
1. Chargers 2. Raiders 3. Broncos 4. Chiefs

Unfortunately for Oakland fans I think the Raiders are still going to be holding onto last place in the AFC West... better luck next year.

I doubt it. Chargers--there is two losses. Broncos----probably two more. Chiefs----if your lucky you will split it

They play an up and coming Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, and Indianapolis---Whew! I think it is going to be a looong season for you Raiders.

At least you are a loyal Black and Silver fan and not someone who will join some band wagon at the end of the year. These will be the times when the true Raider fans turn out.

they should win about 4 games, the Broncos will win the division with 12 or 13 wins then the chargers with 10 or 11 then the cheifs with 8 o r 9. so no they will not place third in the division especially with their O-line and the D-lines in the rest of their division, could be a very long year for russel

Not likely. They might if Al Davis gave his coaching team a chance to improve, but he keeps firing his coaches before they have a chance to do anything to pull the team together and rebuild. Art Shell was fired last year.

Now the team has most of the same old players from last year, but new managers and new things to learn in a new year. I would be surprised if the Raiders did not finish dead last again.

YES this year they traded randy moss to the patriots but he wasnt catching anything anyway and there getting a new quarterback which was there problem the whole time since the defence was awesome and andrew walter kept throwing interceptions and fumbling so if this guy is good than they should win a lot more.
