Your cervix is in the center of your body, at the neck of your uterus. The pain could be due to ovulation, constipation, or could be your period coming on.

The cervix is located internally in the center part of the body, below the belly button.

Pain on the left or right could indicate issues with the ovaries, fallopian tubes, appendix...or just plain old gas.

Talk to a doctor.

Hey this is very simple as it is in the dead center of your body.
I am so sorry to hear that you do have lower abdomen pain .,If I am correct ,you are suffering from intestinal infection and hence the pain in the lower abdomen, you will also be having an urge for stools but nothing comes ,and even if it does it's all gas and sound. It is advised to visit an doctor ,do not delay and get rid of the intestinal infection.Best of luck and fast healing.

The cervix is the lower, narrow portion of the uterus where it joins with the top end of the vagina. It is cylindrical or conical in shape and protrudes through the upper anterior vaginal wall. Approximately half its length is visible with appropriate medical equipment; the remainder lies above the vagina beyond view. It is occasionally called "cervix uteri", or "neck of the uterus".

Your cervix is as everyone says - dead centre, just inside your vagina. Pain where you are experiencing can be caused by many things, muscle spasms, stomach bloating, gas, constipation. Can be caused by exercise, shock to the abdominal muscles. Go to a doctor.

cervix is in the middle - if pain is in the front - may be your ovaries - in the back could be kidneys - or could be anything in between - should go to the doc and get checked out -

You can actually feel your cervix at the back of your vagina. It's what connects the uterus to the vagina. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dfemale%2Breproductive%2Bsystem%26fr%3Dyfp-t-501%26toggle%3D1%26cop%3Dmss%26ei%3DUTF-8&w=801&h=601&imgurl=www.fccj.org%2Fcampuses%2Fnorth%2Flac%2Freproductive_system%2Ffemale_sideview.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fccj.org%2Fcampuses%2Fnorth%2Flac%2Freproductive_system%2Ffemale_sideview.html&size=259.2kB&name=female_sideview.jpg&p=female+reproductive+system&type=jpeg&no=2&tt=4,156&oid=b6ab2f6603fdcade&ei=UTF-8

The pain you're experiencing could be a problem with your kidneys, your ovaries, or it could be appendicitis (if you're feeling displaced pain). If you feel a sudden, sharp pain in your lower stomach, on the right side (towards the middle), get yourself to an ER immediately, your appendix just burst and you need immediate medical attention or you will die. Any pain that is constant should be evaluated by a doctor, so I recommend that you make an appointment with your general practitioner to determine what is wrong with you!

Your cervix is in teh centre, If you put a finger in your vagina, you can feel it.

The pain on either side is probably your ovaries - or it could just be gas.
