Nothing against anyone but it seems like there are a lot of kaylee's, bailey's, chloe's, michayla's, lexi's, reilly's, parker's, jackson's, connor's...etc.....out there. Right? I am looking for some untrendy, solid names that can grow with a child.
Just wondering if anyone had some interesting (but not too far out) names??

We do not like trendy names, either! When naming our children, we want something that is not unheard of, but not too popular either.
We are currently expecting Gwendalyn Rose. We will call her Wendy (or Gwendy, as I have already nicknamed her) but her full name sounds good on an adult. I think a lot of people do not consider the fact that this baby is going to grow into an adult when they are picking out names for their child.
I also like Malinda Darlene (possible nicknames are Mindy or Darla) and Candace Kathryn (possible nicknames are Cindy or Katie)-they are on reserve for any future daughters we may have.
Julia Michelle is another name I love that I think would grow well with a girl.
For boys, I personally like classic names such as Charles, Henry, Samuel and William. Andrew (possible nickname could be Drew, instead of the common Andy), Russel and Xavier are also on our list.
My two older children are named Miranda and Randal (my name is Mary and my husband is Randal-our son is II, NOT Junior).

How about Amelia, Hannah, Violet, Charlotte, Julie and Alice for girls. Robert, Daniel, Morgan, Timothy, Martin and Edward for boys. I know some of these names may sound very old, but they have been used and reused throughout many centuries. Some of these names are not as well known or popular as they used to be but if you want a name for a child that is Conservative and yet respectable then one of these names might be ideal for you.

I've read other viewers answers & think some names ya child could be in for a cruel rude awaking..! U DO NOT want ya child growing up being Teased Bullied & Ridiculed for the rest of their life now Do u? So, Please think carefully b4 naming ya kid & what effects it would have on ya child when growing up for once ya name ya kid thats it stuck for life! Maybe each to their own when naming ya kid but think how that child would feel!
