Most people go to the beach to tan and have a good time but most dont realize how harmful the sun can actually be. Good Job!
I dont think putting powder on your face will decrease its effect or protect you any less. I use the lotion and usually put spf50 on my face and 30 on my body. I always felt that the lotion was better but im sure that if you use the spray form, you will still be protected. I would re-apply every couple hours and make sure if your going in the water that your sunscreen is waterproof.
May you have beautiful skin forever and never get skin cancer!

1. Why rub powder on your face? Anything rubbed on your face after applying sunscreen could compromise it's ability to protect your skin from the sun.
2. They say both have the same protection. Though the issues of how long they stay on the skin in various situations should be considered and is addressed in the instructions.
3. Depends on the brand. How much you sweat and what activities you are involved in would also affect the re-application needs. For instance, if you are swimming you would obviously have to re-apply or if you are playing volleyball or other sports where you are sweating and active. To be safe, the more the better... ie. you can't be too careful with the damages from the sun.

1. No. Powder applied over sunscreen will probably offer a little extra protection from UV rays.
2. Either one is OK. I prefer the lotion type because the sunscreen must be rubbed into the skin properly in order for the sunscreen to be effective. The spray-ons are ok, but you still have to rub it into your skin for maximum effectiveness.
3. Re-apply no less than every hour or two. Be sure to re-apply after swimming, exercising, or heavy perspiring.

1. having makeup on will usually not effect it, but it will make your skin prone to more acne due to all the oils.
2.Its do the form of lotion you use it is how well that it is applied. Both will do there job if applied properly.
3. Read the back of the bottle, but most say every 3-6 hours depending on the strength of the lotion.

Wait 15 minutes (at least) before applying powder. Lotion is safer for your face, easier for your back. And read the label for re-apply time, but I go with every 20 minutes. I'm very fair and don't tan, just burn and freckle.

Powder does not minimize it's effect. Either kind is ok and neither is better than the other. You need to reapply it as often as directed on the bottle but at LEAST every couple of hours.

-powder does not limit effect.
-either form is best, remember to use at least 30 spf and cover entire body
-re-apply every 45 minutes if UV rays are very high
Depends on rays that day.
