I have Final Fantasy X and I really like it. I was thinking about buying X-2 but I hear it's not as good. Do you think X-2 is as good as X?

If you liked FFX then I would say yes, it's a lot of fun to see your old friends from the first game, and meet some new people. Although it's a grate game I should worn you X-2 has sort of a Charles Angels feel to it because the story follows Yuna, Rikku, and Paine, and you usually have a mission to complete in each area, each chapter. But don't let that turn you off right away, the story starts to pick up and get serious at the end of chapter 2. That said I still say give it a try!

I really enjoyed FFX-2, but I am a huge FFX fan. I like how X-2 ties up a lot of the loose ends from X. It's a lighter, less serious storyline than most FF games, but it's fun. I also really like the dress-sphere aspect of the game. It's definitely worth checking out, especially because you can find it really cheap now. If you want to get 100% completion, which will give you a different ending, I recommend either buying the Brady Guide or using an online walkthrough.

Hm... Sounds like some parental guidance question... Personally, I hve a number of suggestions that you can share with your parents... !) OLD- FASHIONED?!?!?! WHAT?!?!? Is you dad wearin spacesuit from 3000A.D.?!?!? Hey, this game's graphic is one of the best in all gaming history! And seriously, even the newest FF 12's FMV is only SLIGHTLY better than FF 10! 2) All the songs in FF10 and FF10-2 are popular even now! Especially Real Emotions, I heard it is on the top of Japanese Sound Music Boardchart... 3) If your dad is afraid that you mite get addicted to playin it since this is a super long game to finish if you want to see Tidus and Yuna gettin back together... Have no fear! FF 10-2 has missions and u can get this as a benchmark to stop playin....Yah...mite be diffc, but hey, convincing your parents are the impt thing now...

I personally enjoy the FF series. X and X-2 are some of my faves. I'm currently playing FF XII and waiting for XIII to come out for the PS3.
There's also Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII coming to PSP later this year. FF I is out now for the PSP and FF II will come out this month.

oh yea. especially if you liked FFX. the new fighting system is also very interesting.
