I know the typical line...but do you apologize too?

Usually I apologise.
But, sometimes it's fun to try to start a conversation with the other person.

I usually just say "sorry wrong number" and hang up. The 5 year old boy i was babysitting today wanted to call his mom, so i dialed the number for him and apparently it was the wrong one. He goes "Is this my mom Julie?" then the next thing i hear from him is "Well then who the hell is this?!?!?!" haha....

it depends on when i realize that it was wrong. if the phone is still ringing (no one answer the phone yet) i will just hang up. but if the wrong phone is answered, I will definitely apologize. it just for the sake of telephoning manner. I'll get upset when someone just hang up of me, I would appreciate it if he/she apologize. It won't hurt to apologize, just being polite.

depends when i realize that i dialed the wrong number, when its ringing i hang up... also sometimes when they answer.

if it has not been answered...i would hang up....but if it is answered than i would apologise.......just simply say sorry sorry but i dialed the wrong number

Don't just hang up, have manners, "I'm sorry, I have mis-dialed.

i apologized to the person and
tell them that i thought it was my
friends number,they tell me
its ok and then hang up.
