I added someone to myspace (someone I knew and remembered from school - though she probably didn't remember me), anyway, myspace notified me that it was her birthday on the 9th of July.. So I sent her a message saying Happy Birthday. She blocked me thereafter. Why did she block me?

~one~ she probably did not remember you and thought you were some sort of stalker freak. If you want to be her myspace friend, try getting her number so you can call her and straighten things out. or send her an email or just ask one of your myspace friends to remind her since you're blocked :)

It's hard for women on the internet.
I try to download a song and I get pestered by guys from the Middle East or wherever the hell looking for cybersex that I just block automatically.
Maybe she's the same!
I'm sorry if it was someone wishing me happy birthday I'd probably be glad. Don't dwell on her - just move on.

Maybe she got creeped out that you knew when her birthday was. If she didn't remember you, that would be enough to just put a block on.
