Who puts on a better show? I'm going to see all 3 on September 1st!

I'm going to the Essex Jct. Fair in Vermont. It's 1/2 hour from my house. And I'm sitting at seat B16, second row center!!!

I saw them all years ago but I know in the case of Foghat, only one of the original members are still in the band....two key members died in recent years & I'm sure that's the case with Blue Oyster Cult too, few of the original members! I'm sure the gig will still be good though!!!

I would say Foghat opening for Blue Oyster Cult, with Special performance by Joan Jett would be awesome. But since that wasn't your question I'd say Joan Jett!

I can't really give ya a definitive answer because I've never
had the pleasure of seeing JJett "LIVE" but make me a promise. Since you have such a Great seat, let me know which you prefer. Both B. O. Cult and FogHat were just "Killer"
but that was years ago! ENJOY! Have a Great Time!

30 years ago I would have said Blue Oyster Cult (saw BOC '75, Foghat numerous times 70's & JJ in '80's), but after all this time I gotta wonder if they can still blast it like in the "golden years".

BOC should put on a good show. They have more music to pick from and the guys are very talented.
I still remember the BOC concert that I saw in the early 80's. They did a great Godzilla and Reaper.

Joan Jett is amazing live, but I've only seen her so I can't compare. But I saw her at warped tour last year and she put those other bands to shame even in her 50s!

BLUE OYSTER CULT was the 2nd concert I ever went to back in 1978 and it STILL sticks out in my mind. GODZILLA ROCKS!!!
