Can I dump a bunch of Triops into a fry tank? Would I have to remove the larger ones? I think theyre strictly algae/pellet eaters but I dont want the bigger ones getting interested in my little fry.

My story:
The fry I started out with are the fry from the breeding of my two bettas. This was my first time and i was WAY in over my head. I didnt have the ability to go to the store and buy things like microworms so I grew insuforia for them but I dont really think they ate it seeing as how there are three Betta's left from a rather large group.

I was about to clean out the tank when I noticed there were three of them, a month old approximately, and probably smaller than they would normally be.

Ive recently gotten the three into a container so that I can keep an eye on them and It'd hit me pretty hard if these three die.

They dont/wont/havnt eaten the crushed flake food that I read they should be consuming by now soo.. What do i do?

Here is a great site that explains everything about raising bettas, even week by week
I don't think you can feed them triops though

Those are not a good combination, no. Try these sites for some info on your triops

Your fry will survive if you feed them and keep the water clean and warm. The best food is newly hatched brine shrimp. Microworms are good for the first week then only as supplemental after that so don't even worry about those. You might need to go buy some gel food (there are some available in regular fish food sections in pet stores now), or if you can find decapsulated brine shrimp eggs, you can feed them those too. They really prefer live foods, and those are best for growth, and BBS are really easy to work with one you have the stuff, so try that if you can.
