They can't unless there was a written agreement for you to pay them back or return the computer. Without that, it is considered a gift. They are out whatever amount of money they spent on it.

I think they can do that but it only will show you what type of person is that, I think is rude and low, If I detect that they trying to take me to court for that, I will brake the damn laptop.

Uh no they can't get it back. They gave it to you, therefore it belongs to you, it's your property. How can they take YOUR property because they don't like you anymore? That would be like your job trying to take back all the money you've earned because they are going to fire you, it doesn't work like that. He/she transferred ownership to you, end of story.

no. if you give someone a gift it is theirs. unless you descriptly told that person: If our friendship breaks up, I agree to give it back to you.
