They are just being patriotic I think.
Don't forget the British national anthem - God Save The Queen - what about the rest of the population?

Well here's whats up. America had to fight long and hard about 200 years ago to get to where we are today. The odds seemed impossible, and yet we overcame them by some miracle to become FREE and INDEPENDENT. And as they believed back then, that miracle was God. And we are not "the" one nation under God, just "a" one nation under God. There is no "the" in our pledge. So God is our main idol for what we have become. And what do you mean not bless the world??! America has more charitites and programs to help foreign countries than any other country. And we are viewed as the greatest country becuase of THAT reason (and also becuase we have the strongest military). And also, Canada has their freedom becuase of us. We chased the British out of all of the surrounding territories in our country while trying to expand in Destiny Manifest. And once the British left, we practically gave Canada to the French. And I'm not too sure about Australia as I never studied their history, but what did they do to earn their freedom?

1. The propaganda mostly comes from political fueled politicians usually big business tiring to sell something there product is always the greatest.
2. Most of us are raised in an environment that only really cares about what affects are daily routine not the outside world. So God bless where I and my family stand and F*** the rest of the world.
3. And as for Australia and Canada which is outside of our environment. Many Americans don't have contact with or attempt to learn about how other countries run their government. We are trying hard to live our lives worrying about the criminals in our government and in our environment that is closest to us.
4.Freedom of speech

Because the people who started this country were all Christians. they believed God did influence the affairs of Men. Several had studied for the ministry and America' s most prominent Church musician was elected to the Constitutional Convention. Also three of America's most prominent Free Masons: Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson all played important roles in setting up our Government. Say what you will about the Masons, but they do believe that some higher power does guide the affairs of Men.
Also how do you quantify "freedom' ? Australia and Canada both have governer-generals appointed by the queen of England. They have no rights guaranteed them. Their rights are gifts from a heredity monarch. They have no basic law no bill of rights or constitution, just a series of acts passed by the legislature of England, a foreign country.

This country has been very blessed. Today we do appear to be tearing ourselves a part. Some day we may become one nation again.
Australia & Canadian have also been blessed. I personally like the weather in Australia better.
Personally I think all of us would loved to be blessed like only GOD can BLESS someone - what can I say we are all a bit greedy! Even terrorist want 72 virgins. Most guys have a hard time keeping ONE woman happy for life.

Our freedom of speech is getting repressed by every hour because of the dang liberals and the ACLU. Now, who are you referring to whey you say 'they keep saying'? I really think that we are the greatest country and that's why you have people of different culture who want or who live here in America. You even got illegals here now. So, yes we still have freedom of religion here in America. I really think that the ACLU and all the liberals should leave this country if they don't like America.
I don't know why you don't like America, but what ever it is, you just stay where are if you are happy there. No pressure of you coming to America. Unless you are an American, but don't like America.
I have to say though, God's nation is the Holy Land of Israel and her people. My opinion.

Really? Freedoms under assault here in America?
I think Canada REQUIRES its radio stations to air at least 25% Canadian oriented programming. A law like that in America would be struck down by our courts so fast your head would spin.
Australia bans personal possession of firearms. That would never happen here.
I'm sure I could go on, that was off the top of my head. Bottom line, Canada and Austrailia can keep their freedom, I'll stay in America.

Uh, wow. One nation under God wasn't meant to be like THE one nation under God. If that were true we wouldn't be so happy to have different religions, eh? But as far as freedom goes, you hit the nail on the head. Too many Americans are fat lazy bros and broads who need the government to do everything for them. So as long as you and I pay for the fat lazy population to collect checks and they spend their foodstamps on beer and cigarettes while they kick out another kid every 10 months, who cares. America is a great country, but we are heading south, quick.

"In God We believe" became extra interior the 1950's as because of the crimson Scare. additionally us of a isn't a Christian us of a, the 1st modification states that there is a separation of church and state... so truly a pledge pertaining to the abrahamic god should not be suggested in a public colleges.. a minimum of atheists or pupils who worship different deities should not be compelled to assert it.

its 'one nation under god,' not 'the one nation under god.' big difference.
somehow, everything else youve said is even more ridiculous.
1-how do you measure america vs canada vs australia's freedoms? thatd be interesting to hear.
2-saying god bless the world is fine, but perhaps the pledge of allegiance to the Unites States of AMERICA should stick the topic of AMERICA, dont you think?
