LOL I'm done laughing now.
Everybody in my family, except for one sister, does not talk to me. I know it's not my fault. I can't help it if they're either nuts or socially disfunctional.
My sister is the only other sane one in the family, on that we agree.

My partners daughter - she's 30 - has a toyboy boyfriend (22)and treats her and her kids like crap - for some reason she won't get rid of him. Sounds simple enough but there is alot more into it, we have tried to help so much. This bo yfriend of her threatened to smash me and my baby in our face... so that is that - if she hasn't got the guts to leave him after that, so be it, she obviously wants to live in misery. We feel so bad for the kids, we've even called welfare in, but they take up to 8 months to react to a 'claim' as they are so understaffed. We'll leave her alone now, we've tried, so yeah, not on speaking terms.
Thanks - feel better now I have got that off my chest, almost like a therapy session LOL

Yes, my cousin. We were close when we were little, but as we grew up, she started treating me as if I was beneath her and the only time she wanted to just hang out was when no one else was around. I wised up and for the last 10 years we have only seen each other about 5 times. I think it is for the best.

My oldest daughter hasnt spoken to me for 21 years. I have no idea if it's my fault, she wont return my calls and sends back any mail I send her. To compound the felony-she sent her only daughter to live with me for more than a year and when my mother died, the same daughter paid for me to travel 3,000 miles to go to the funeral. Go figure.

Yes I sure do, my oldest brother, and no, it was not my fault. Actually no one is speaking to him in my family. It is a sad thing when there is so much conflict between brothers.

yes, I do. my parents & siblings. It might kinda be my fault, but its because they baby my younger sister (who is 25) and they always take her side & believe her before me. they totally disrespect my husband (he's black, I'm white) and they are just dimented in there own little way. My husband and 6 year old son are the most important things to me and they won't take that away!

I no-longer talk to my parents. It took me 23 years to pry myself from the cycles of abuse, but I have pulled through. I have put myself out there for them continuously and continously I get burned. You have to finally make a decision that is best for yourself because no-one else will.
