The best thing to do is test it first. Place it outside on a flat level surface and on some paper. Carefully fill it without dripping any water on the outside and leave it there for a few hours. If the paper remains dry, you're good to go. If not and you need to repair a leak, this will also allow you to find the leak and mark where it is.

Don't try to just patch over the existing sealant, remove as much as possible from the leaking seam and completely redo that seam.

You can find sealant at most any hardware store in the caulking rack. Just be sure it's clear silicone and labeled safe for aquariums.

The fish tank seals are going from rigidity. it may desire to no longer have been placed point or on a good floor. it may desire to grant out at any time. based ot the dimensions it may desire to have the ability to being sealed back yet i would not recommend it. in case you are able to cut back the water in it devoid of shutting down the clear out it may desire to cut back the rigidity until your boss is back, yet except you're prepared to make a probably costly decision together as he's long previous, there is not any longer a lot you're able to do.

ditto to magic, you should remove the old silicone and replace if you plan on resealing the edges, if you layer it on top it can still leak around the new silicone
