Hello!
I have a friend who I recently got into a big fight with. Now usually, in the past, when I've had arguments with this friend, I've always felt guilty and apologized to him first and was always the one to take steps to make up. This time, however, I feel totally confident in what I said and I don't regret a thing. I have decided that if he wants to make up, that for once HE should be the one to come to me and apologize. However, its been over a week now and I haven't heard a thing from him. Part of me thinks I'm being too stubborn and I should just apologize and make up to keep the peace. Part of me thinks I should not give in and continue to wait for his reply. Part of me is scared to lose his friendship, because I really cared about him, and it hurts that he doesn't care enough to apologize. What should I do? Apologize, forgive & forget? Or stand up for myself and wait for him to come to me?
Thanks!!

I dont know, some would argue that regardless friends arnt worth losing over an argument. But it would seem that your friendship is somewhat one sided. Give it time, he needs to realise who he is losing and what it is worth to him. If he still cant apoligise to you after some time (give him a good week or 2 at least) then your friendship is most likely one sided.

I guess its possible that he finds it hard to express feelings, even ones of friendship but still. In the end you will have to choose either possible lonelyness or a friend who doesnt give a **** about you. Tough choice huh :/

Well you shouldnt lose a friend over a little argument so id say apologize, you dont have to mean it. they may be the type who doesnt like to admit there wrong.

its immiture to not appologize and put it behind you. So that just proves that your the bigger person, and its a great trait to have. I understand that always saying sorry and not recieving the apology is aggrivating but id say appologize because if you care chances are he does too, and that may mean your both stubborn who knows.

Apologize.
and NEXT time, do not get in arguments with your friend that threatens the friendship.
