An a/c man told me this trick that lowered the cooling air considerably. New window a/c units do not have drains anymore. If your already has one take it apart to be sure there are no obstructions in the front lower portion of the air conditioner. While the machine runs you should see a constant drip and when the humidity is high the water should come out in a solid stream. The opening must be clear and clean so that there is little or no standing water in the front bottom portion of the pan. If you have no drain at all look through the fins and carefully drill a 1/4 -5/16 hole in the floor of the drain pan at it's lowest location. This allows the compressor to exchange cooler refrigerant faster, thus cooling more efficiently.
Some instant engineer thought that the cooling fan should actually pick up the excess water in the drain pan to sling it directly on the fins and coolant passages to cool the refrigerant quicker. Well it just ain't so said the Fedders district repair man.

you're having particularly some condensation from the previous one no longer working properly and the hot one is clearing it out because it cools. Wait a together as until now hiring the guy to be sure if it would not initiate cooling and draining extra effective. you'll be able to desire to be right here in Texas the place it particularly is a hundred and five! in basic terms thinking approximately ninety two looks cooler to me!
