I think that is honestly kind of pointless. Myself I would rather have $300 than a $300 gift card. I would sya just spend the money on whatever and forget the giftcards.

Not likely - first, you have to be willing to spend $300 at ONE store. And second, how does the buyer know that you haven't used the card yet...

There could be $1.57 left on it when they hand over their cash!

Besides - if they really wanted the card (say for a gift), they would just go to the store ITSELF to get one ;););)
