Don't buy a chip or a Tornado. Neither of them will do jack. What you want is a Cold Air Intake. They are available from many different sources, such as K&N, Volant, AEM, etc. You may be able to get your engine's PCM tuned by a performance shop, but if you have no other mods done it's not going to do much. Letting your engine breathe easier either with a cold-air intake or exhaust will go a long way in increasing performance.

Well ther is a few. You could superchip the hell out of it, get at the MOST 15-20 horsepower. Or you could by a tornado. It fits into your sock intake and saves gas and increases power, if the engine is a gas you could get a K&N air filter and new housing box. If it a deisel get a banks cold air/ram air induction kit which will be a major boost of power to the engine and help it live longer. The cleaner, colder, and fresher the air the better it is for your engine

If you know how to install it, a chip is likely the best bet. If not, then opening up the exhaust is. My brother in law and his friends have supper souped up trucks and they all replace the chip first.
