Well, I'm not between 25 and 35 (only 17, but I've seen a lot in those 17 years), but I have to say I love WNY and would never want to live anywhere else. We're known for snow (it doesn't snow nearly as much as everyone seems to think it does) and chicken wings. But not everyone knows that Buffalo has been named America's Biggest Small Town, since everybody knows everybody and it is a really friendly community. There are so many cultural things in the city, like Shakespeare in Delaware park (free performances all summer), the Albright-Knox, which is a nationally respected art museum, and all kinds of sweet stuff like that. The bars are supposed to be good, especially on Elmwood, but hey, what would I know about that. :-)
Buffalo is awesome. You're right next to Canada, Niagara Falls, two of the Great Lakes (though Lake Erie is much nicer)... you can drive anywhere in 15 minutes. There are some not-so-nice areas of Buffalo, sure, but the crime rate is pretty low and for the most part, Buffalo is a beautiful city, not the decrepit old craphole most people think it is. And if you're into sports, we've got the sucky Bills, the pretty awesome Sabres, and the pretty laughable Bisons (minor league baseball).
If you aren't into city life (well, I guess if you're from Pittsburg you must be), then maybe try a close suburb like Amherst or Clarence. The southtowns are beautiful too. I hope if you do move here you like it as much as I do!!

I have never lived in buffalo but traveled there alot because I was an otr truck driver and always enjoyed it. Seems like everyone there is more layed back and friendly than some other cities. even rush hr was not something I dreaded. There are a few idiots anywhere you go but like I sad I could drive there in rush hr and people just seem to motor along not in any big hurry to cut you off. So I give buffalo people a big thumbs up for being easy going.

They have the best chicken wings =)
Mshay I tried replying to your e-mail but it was returned, so here is my reply..
Hiya
I meant Best wing sauce and the hype you hear about Anchor Bar Restaurant is true. So Good!
Bobby Flay did a "throwdown" with the owner of Anchor Bar about a month ago and conceded that they had the best wings so they must be the same as I remember.
I can't tell you much else about Buffalo since I haven't been there in a long time.
