and please don't answer "because you need more sources!" even I guessed that, can I do anything to help it along or just wait, or try again another day?

the need more sources thing just means that there arn't enough people out there with that perticular file if it's a song just try downlading a different version of it there are probly more than just one unless your downloading some random song that almost no one has

Limewire and other P2P programs, allow you to share files with other users of similar software rather than from a central server.
Say, for example you wish to download Barry Manilows greatest hits. You search for it on the network and find a copy to download on Freds computer. Unfortunatly, it being such a popular album, Alice, Bob, and Sarah are trying to download it at the same time.
Hence Limewire is telling you that this source is too busy to serve you as well and you need to find and alternate source ie "Need more sources"

1.) Use Frostwire instead of Limewire; more secure, and faster

2.) It means that the person or people you were downloading off of are no longer there. So it needs you to find a different source to download from, IE, search again and re-download it. Try downloading from an item which has 128 kpbs bitrate or better, Cable or better connection, and has more than 1 source.

It means there are not enough people connected at the time to download from. If you click on get more sources, there is a chance it will catch one that has just connected or one it wasn't connected to before....but I usually go elsewhere to get it because most of the "need more sources" end up being a dead end/damaged file that will never download or will take forever to get.

I believe it just means there are no more sources available at that time for what you are trying to download...no one has the media. Depends what you're doing on limewire I guess.

Right click the file and select find more sources. It will search and most often find more sources and begin downloading. What it means is that there is not a lot of people sharing that particular file at that moment

there is a chance if u try again later, because people come and go into limeware all the time, sometimes u can find a source , sometimes u dont, just use the "find more hosts" option when u right click the file

Right click and find more sources because the program downloads parts of the file from different people.

I get that a lot and it's when they're no hosts for you to download whatever it is that you're looking for.

I try to find things with multiple #.
For example, I'd rather download Toy Story with #12 than Toy Story without any #
