Is it anything other than "he's hot" or he "never backs down from a challenge"?
OF COURSE HE WON'T BACK DOWN, BOYS AND GIRLS! ITS WRESTLING! Oh, I don't care if you think he's hot.
So...can anyone give me a rational (and not have anything to do with a storyline-type of rational) reason that John Cena is better than Edge?

Well, I'm not a Cena fan. However, I can try to set that aside and see this from another perspective.
He can really get the crowd going - whether they cheer or boo him - it gets LOUD in those arenas. If you've ever been to a live show, it's deafening at times! He gets a lot of attention both positive and negative.
His merchandise sells. Why? Well because there are plenty of 14 year old girls who want to be "Mrs. Cena" as well as 14 year old boys who "look up to" John Cena as a great wrestler *cough* and role model.
Some people can appreciate his acting talents as well. I personally have never seen the Marine, so I cannot comment on that, I just wish the man would learn how to salute properly. Anyway, the movie got a lot of good ratings, so I assume he is a good actor to his fans. Like it or not.
He went from wearing the college sports colors for whatever town he visited (clever, by the way) to being Vanilla Ice for Halloween where it all started. He does come up with some clever rhymes sometimes. As much as I really love Mr. Kennedy, I couldn't help but laugh when John Cena was making fun of him in the ring. He has some moments that are somewhat humorous.
Edge? Well he's Canadian, so he's disqualified in my book. He's a whiner. "I got screwed, whine whine whine" that's all we ever hear of him. He cheats to win. He's lame and boring. I used to LOVE Edge..... in the "pre-Lita" days.... but no more. He's become useless and boring.

John Cena better than Edge ... no thats impossible to argue.. Now that youve taken away the Cena fans 'weapon of mass destruction' the (this is how they sound) 'Hes soooo hot and is like the bestest wrestler EVER!'
Dont make an argument to hard for them, their only 12-16 year olds who think the tooth fairy is real

Dude, Cena has limited strikes,Mic skills....basically as reliable as his writter. the guy is lame he's basically hype reason Vince reported he would desire to be...Oh did I point out Cena sucks? facet over Cena anyday of the 300 and sixty 5 days interior the twelve months!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: in accordance to those solutions i could say you purely lost a gamble.

I don't really care who is better, I like them both. I believe that Cena has a true passion for the buisness and I think he has awesome mic skills, and I love to watch his matches. Oh right now I'm going to get some thumbs down because a lot of the Cena haters can't get it threw their thick heads that some people like Cena

i don't think cena is better than edge....they both have their good points, as they both have their bad points....alot of people don't like cena because of the lenght of time he has held the wwe title....and i have to say i am one person who agreeds, he has had it to long...so a break away from being champ would do cena good...but then it comes down to money for the wwe, cena is selling as champ....edge is the face of smackdown at this moment and should not lose the title to kane at gab..i think edge is good as a heel and plays the part well.....and i hope he holds the title a little longer...both guys have different styles of wrestling and different ways to come across to wwe fans, so i don't think we can say one is better than the other...i personal like edge more than cena ,but you will always have people on different sides of the fence and ones who sit on it.....

cena is not better, though edge is not good either. cena always comes off with a fluke win after getting beat up all match.

HE IS NOT BETTER THAN EDGE< CENA sucks he should go back to jumping off roofs or rappin or trying to act like a marine. HE SUCKS and HE THE REASON THAT KNOW ONE WATCHES THE LAST PART OF RAW
