Bush has never kept his word about anything. Congress will remove the troops after September and more of the Bush Administration failures. They will keep their word. Halliburton (KBR) Blackwater USA wont see another dime from the American tax payer.

Tony Snow has already said the high priests have declared that, to be determined by September, is too short a time. Just watch...Bush will ask for more time. Iraquis are so busy killing each other now, they don't have time to train for governing their country. The "surge" seems to be in slo-mo direction. Meanwhile, our troops are trying to deal with an extremely stressful, dangerous and hopeless situation!

The troops will be there until Bush leaves office...he's thinking about the history books now and pulling the troops out now is like admitting this was a mistake. Pride overrides logic is some cases...its a shame. Hopefully the GOP will pick smarter people to represent them in upcoming election.

No, because the surge will "work" - even if half of Iraq is dead and the other half is shooting at each other, Bush will find a way to say it's working. Has he ever failed to create his own reality before?

No, he will divide Iraq into three sections,

Kurdistan,
Sunni
Shia

3 parts, and then they can all just shut up. He really should have done this a while ago, its the best option. Oh yea, with one central thing in Baghdad. Kinda where they can all meet and do nothing, like the UN. But each region will have essentially autonomy.

He is probably running a contest right now for the best excuse he can use when it falls flat.

Winner gets an all paid two week vacation in Baghdad. As soon as it's safe to go there again. HA HA HA!

When has Bush EVER been a man of his word or even a remotely honest man? You know damned well he won't keep his word.

Even he doesn't know. All he has done in 7 years is lie to cover other lies. Probably not and he'll declare martial law and suspend elections and make himself king george the coward, so he can finally succeed at something.

No! The general will say we are making some progress and should stay longer exactly what bush wants. He can then ask for more patience until his term ends and then he can tell us what a great job he did.
