Eddie_online as well, who said, I didn't have problems?.. Everyone has his/her share, of that.. And, you are wrong, in your way of thinking...But, then again you are in-title to your own opinion, which I can take, very well :)

In my opinion : "IN A WAY", you can..If you follow-up someones activity for a long time... In every state of mind this person is.. at that time... However, this will take a lot of study.. And then again..their are no guaranties...

I can, but only in the following way.

A person can be said to be like a city, with facades to be seen by the glimpse of the passer-by. Does the passer-by care to know more than just these facades? If so, we can say that Q & A is like the passer-by who decides to venture into the side streets and back alleys. But even these places have their own facades.

Q & A here on Yahoo Answers does not compare very well to psychoanalysis, but we must not completely disregard the similarities, either. The patient may voluntarily "open up" to the analyst in the hope of a cure for what ails. In like manner, the passer-by mentioned above can grow in sophistication, so much so that even the gates of the city's citidel swing open.

PERSONALITY is the city; IDENTITY is the citidel, where one rightfully retreats, the ultimate self-protective mode. When I have sought out the identity of the person, it means I have at least temporarily abandoned my own...and this is not advisable for the faint of heart, human nature being what it is.

What I am not able to do is know someone in more depth than myself. Understanding the whole requires connection-extention of constituents. There is a whole here on Q & A that can be read properly, theoretically, without my participation. But that's another question for another day.

Probably, yes. If you assume the person is being upfront and honest you can tell a lot. You can also tell a lot by the types of questions and answers people get involved in. Most who involve themselves in these philosophical discussions would be interesting to know in the real world. Most who ask about wrestling or TV shoes would be rather boring.

It is hard to show some parts of your personality in the written word, though. I enjoy laughing and getting others to laugh but you could never tell from my writing.

Occasionally, an original slant to a person's answers, or a particularly intelligent response, encourages me to explore their previous questions and answers. I've found that as few as a dozen answers is usually sufficient to come to an informal assessment of the respondent's personality. But, here's the thing - I can never know if I am right, since the anonymity that gives YA its unique flavor not only shields its members from the crazies but shields them from one another. This is the price we pay. Blessings.

In your case yes...correct me if Im wrong, I hope I am wrong....being here is your alternate ego, you portray all your positive self, on here...you dont have any problems, characterised by your =D after every question, unfortunately you dont fool me....it is obvious that your searching for something, you might as well use google.com, but on hindsight youre looking for yourself, all those quotes youve used on your "profile" are "positivism"...which shows that you have lived "life" maybee its a reflection on what you should have done in the past, You question yourself as a human being and also regret, you think its too late, but its not really...

you also said you like to help people, my only advice for you then would be that it doesnt really matter, maybee you have a big heart and worry too much, you have to stop worrying and know that being negative is also okay, as long as you dont wallow in it, be like a yin and yang, balance is the key.

edit:
Then to answer your question truthfully, I guess not then.

peace, take care.

It's possible. I'm a smartass with a sensitive side and I think that it shows in my answers. However, the questions I ask RARELY have anything to do with me. It's just random stuff I heard or questions based on converstations I have with people at work.

If the person is being honest the whole time yes. It's like a puzzle you put all the pieces together. I already thought of that it would be interesting. That is why I initially didn't put my e-mail on here in case of freaks.
