Prioritize it please - maybe most important to least important or most expensive to least expensive, or any other way you want.

Please dont just tell me to see a mechanic or to check my owners manual.

The car runs fine, I've done all the regular upkeep.

But in GENERAL what is a list of things to check/ change/ update/ fix/ maintain etc etc etc a car.

One thing you could do, and that is to take the car to an auto parts place like Autozone and have the error codes read. that way you would know if you have any faults that you aren't aware of yet. then a thorough cleaning and shampooing of the carpet and seats. If the seats are leather, then a cleaner and conditioner on the seats.

Brakes should also be looked at every 3 or 4 years. It is not a bad time to flush the brake fluid and get new fluid in there. Brake fluid will absorb moisture and if they get too hot the water will boil and then you have air in the system.

Replace the coolant and flush the system. Not in that order however. The coolant has antirust additives and they wear out over time.

there are no big ticket items here, so pick the order you want and get it done when you have the funds.

Not much, really, if you've been following the scheduled maintenance. You may need a new timing belt at this point, but if you want to refresh things a bit, you can replace the rubber and rubber coated things under the hood - plug wires, hoses, etc. The car probably doesn't need it, however; 3 to 4 years on a car these days is practically brand new.

Miss the only thing is this on any 3 or 4 year old car is the owners manual which very seldom is payed attention to,It shows you a complete maintenance chart and all you do is look at the following mileage intervals 30,000 60,000 90,000 mile needed services.Oil is changed every 3,000 miles and other systems follow quickly afterwards.
