Ok, so this guy I know just died, & he had a baby with my sister. He was a military veteran. Is she entitled to any Social Security benefits like SSI or Social Security? & also, my friend just slept with this guy & we just found out yesterday AFTER he died-that she's pregnant & the baby could possibly be his. Is it true that we can get a DNA test before he gets buried & save it for when the new baby is born? & if it is positively his, can that baby get benefits too?

Sorry but he was a promiscuous 40-yr. old man.

Yes the children of this man alre eligible for Social Security Benefits. You can save his DNA yes, it will still be fine in several months and even years if stored correctly.

She wasn't married to him so she is entitled to no benefits.

The children might possibly be if it can be proven that he is the biological father.

You need an attorney for this mess.

And, this 40 year old man is not the ONLY one who is promiscuous.....

It is not likely either woman would be able to collect benefits unless he was retired from the service (not just a vet) and he paid for the survivor benefits.

Why do you want me, a taxpayer, as well as other citizens to support your equally promiscuous sister's two out of wedlock, illegitimate children?
