No, it is actually a sign of strength because not many people can admit they are wrong out rightly. Seriously sometimes it takes a lot of courage to admit your weaknesses and that you are wrong, apologize and ready to face the consequences.
For example in a marriage how many people could seriously say honey i actually have been seeing another, i am sorry and i am wrong......It take a lot of guts

It takes someone with alot of convidence, to admit they made a mistake, or accident. You never tell apologise if you know you are right, but when you find out you are wrong, it takes a big person to admit they where wrong. You are weak when you let someone take away your common good manners.

Yes. At least for me, it typically is. In the past I used to apologize for things as a way of submitting to people and hoping that by apologizing they'd be happy with me.
I have to fight the urge often. There's a b*tch in my certification class who I got into a disagreement with and I was tempted to go up to her later and say I was sorry for disagreeing and that she made good points even though I don't think she didn't.
Fortunately I fought that urge.

No I think it is a sign of strength. Admitting you are wrong and making it right is a sign of strength and maturity. Sounds like the old lady is senile.

Nope, apologizing means you don't want to act like a jerk.
Only if you say it over and over again is it weak.

On the contrary, I think it's a sign of strenght. It's hard to admit you were wrong and even harder to apologize for it.

no it isn't a sign of weakness. it is a sign that you are able to deal with your wrong doings fairly. it was only fair that you apologize to her after you caused her accidental harm.
