I am attempting to file a civil suite against Honda for the wrongful death of my fiancee who was killed in a four wheeler accident almost ten years ago. Can I do it or is time frame too long?

You really need to discuss this with a lawyer. In addition to the statute of limitations issue (which I think is seven years for torts) you have the issue of the class action suit that Honda settled some time ago. Also, since you were not married, you may not have standing.

I'm sorry for your loss, but only lawyers that are familiar with the laws of you area can help with this. Besides, the burden of proof that they were negligent is on you. The question you have to ask yourself is did they do, or not do, something that caused the accident. They're going to run with user error. If there was a defect with the unit you may have a case, but other then that, your wasting your time. It's like trying to sue Ford or Chevy because you were in an automobile accident. What I'm saying here is think it through before hiring a lawyer.
