You should eat some yogurt, as far as I know its supposed to help out with thrush, or you eat it to prevent it one of the two. Thats if you like yogurt anyway. Otherwise go to your pharmacy and ask your pharmacist they have a great knowledge about medicines and should be able to give you some advice if you can't wait.

Call your doctor again and ask what to use. Tell him/her that you can't wait until your appointment.

I know that when I had thrush, they just gave me some medication to clear it up vaginally, but I don't know if you can use any old over-the-counter stuff. I'd ask though.

If they give you a hard time, go into an after-hours clinic or ER and tell them you need something NOW!

Good luck. Thrush is pretty common during pregnancy, sorry to say.

From memory the treatment - tablet and cream (which is available over the counter), says to speak to your doctor if pregnant. I am guessing it is possible to use at some point in your pregnancy otherwise it would advise against using it at all. I suggest a quick trip to your doctors or clinic for advice on it - better to check! I hope you find out soon thrush is annoying.

I would call the pharmacist before taking any ones advice here. I don't know. Just so you know, my friend had thrush when she was pregnant and her baby was born with it. I believe that's what happens. Talk to you doctor when you can to get all the correct info.

I would ask your doctor. You are pretty early in your pregnancy, so I would definitely check with him/her. If you need to get a hold of a doctor immediately, you can usually call your local ER and they will ask a doctor for you. Good luck and best of health to you and your baby!

Ask the pharmacist, they know much better than the doctors.
I know it's safe while breastfeeding, i don't know about pregnancy.
