today i was at camp and i didn't feel like swimming and at the last part of our swim we have a swim/diving instruter. So she asted me whats wrong? and then she ''do u have your period''? or u just don't feel good /. so i said i just don't feel good. was that a proper question like was it a question someone could ask or it's not something u would ask? and i never got my period. i didn't get it yet . am jsut curious if it's a proper and question . thanx

Yes it was a proper question. Having worked at camp for many, many years I can confidently say that the person who asked was only asking so they could accomodate you if you were on it. Sometimes a camper will be embarassed, crampy, sickly or upset about their period and the counselors and instructors only want to know so they can help you out. Also, she was checking to make sure that wasn't why you felt bad. By ruling out menstruation the counselors an dinstructors will keep a closer eye on you in case your illness got worse.

it may be embarassing, but yea, it's proper. sometimes as you get odler your gym teachers (even guys) will mention stuff about it. just dont freak out when they ask!
