Dyno will be your best bet.

But auto maker usually set max horsepower RPM close to redline and max torque at RPM drop point after higher gear is change hitting red line from previous gear.

So if your red line is about 6500 ~ 7000 rpm, after changing to next high gear, your rpm will probaby be in 4500 to 5000 depending on your gear ratio, this is most like where your max torque is located.

Hi there it all has to be fully tested on a dyno and the torque/hp/rpm @its highest achieved maximum is all on the dyno.In fact if you have seen cars being smogged they all do it on the dyno and what they are looking for is low speed pollution at 15mph and 25 mph,fwd or rwd it doesn't matter it has to be done this way unless the car is over 30yrs. old and smog exempt.

If the car is totally stock, then you can look up the figures and get a good estimation of the figures.

If you have a modified engine and want an exact figure, then the only way is to run a dyno pull on it. good luck.
