Please suggest that your BF spare the child a lifetime of frustration and save her creativity for the middle name. Then give respectability with the first: meaning normal name, normal spelling. There are plenty of unusual names that are still with in the realm of normal and yet seldom if ever heard. If she wants unique, go for a unique name not a normal name spelled wrong. I guess Zoe could be a nickname for Zonita but it is nice enough on its own.

No! NO! NO!
Alternates for Elizabeth are Elisabeth or Lisbet
Alternates for Catherine are Katherine, Kathryn or Caitlyn
Altenates for Anna are Ana, Anne, Annie
Zoe is a great name all on its own. I don't like Zonita
The alternate spellings you have come up with will torture your child for life-NO ONE will know how to pronounce the child's name EVER and it will only look like the child had illiterate parents.

No, those are just weird and the child will be resentful toward her parents forever. My name is Ashley spelled the traditional way, but my mom was going to spell it Ashleigh, which is uncommon, but not unheard of. How about that?

My name is Katherine Elizabeth. I would have killed my parents had they spelled my name Kauthauron Alitzabath. The other two "nontraditional" spellings you have listed are also pretty bad. My advice, don't do it. Don't ruin nice names with made-up spellings.

People are now getting tired of the trendier names and making them super trendi.
Like Aiden, is now Aydin.
Brayden is now Braedyn
Jayden is now Jaiedyn
or Caden is now Caedin.
If I didn't know what these names were at first, I wouldn't know how to pronounce them.

Please don't. It's so unfair to the child. Poor kids growing up now, McSomethingorother, Danyella, Nevaeh. C'mon people, don't kids have enough to deal with than to have to spell or pronounce their name for someone every day for the rest of their lives.
