Tax incentives for any car manufacturer out there would cause any one of the leading manufacturers to begin a prototype,
Others would have to follow suit...

Does this prove congress is devoted to the auto industry more than it is to the american public.

Wow, you posted the car that takes water and turns it into hydrogen and back to water. So in the end you end up with exactly what you started with PLUS a ton of energy. So you "created" energy. The 1st LAW of themodynamics, which NO scientist will tell you has been violated: Energy cannot be created OR destroyed, merely altered in form. I'm not saying it is a consensus. It has never been disproven. EVER. That's why it changed from theory to LAW. Better to keep your mouth shut and have everyone think you are an idiot than to open it and leave no doubt. Take solace in the fact that you aren't the only person to post this, it happens a few times a week.

Vegetable Oil, Water, Hybrid, Electric + some others were all tested in the UK. Water was really poor. Didnt last very long at all with the current technology. You would have to stop every 20min to get more water. Electric was the best. No emissions on electric either.

Can you inagine what the Big oil companys would say to that,
It would go over like a fart in church. It was the big oil companies
that did away with San Fransisco's trolly cars. Buses used gas and oil.

Right now it is costly for normal folks, plus there is still room for more improvements. I would say in 10 years it should be ready for consumer use...if there's money in it you can bet that companies will invest in it, but if no one will buy it why bother? It's all about marketing and what our mentality is.
