I know I like cold water on my hair (crew cut). I wet our rabbit today, he didnt seem to mind. Also, he tends to sit under the dripping water bottle sometimes.

Most rabbits don't mind getting a little wet, especially when it is hot, but they don't like to be drenched. Rabbits don't sweat like some other animals do, so they pant (similar to a dog) to help keep cool. One way to help them cool off quickly if they get too hot is to mist their ears with cool water. A lot of their body heat is given off through their ears, and misting them with cool water helps them cool off quickly.

Yes only when hot. Just put the rabbit in the backyard and put in a sprinkler and if that doesent work just use a hose to wet the rabbit. Do this during the day more towards the morning but not right in the morning at like 12:00 or a bit after, then put cold water in the bath tub at night and let him jump around in that , it is good to do it 2 times a day.

I personally wouldn't; if rabbits get water in their ears, I've heard that nasty ear infections can come up. What I do with my rabbit is take some old 2 liter bottles, fill them up with water, and freeze them. Then I put them in her hutch. It is good that you are concerned about your rabbits in the summer heat, as I've known a number of owners who've unfortunately lost a pet or two to the heat. Good luck!

My birds do. I do. Sometimes, so does the dog. A light mist..from a spray bottle? Hmmm..I don't know.

To a certain extent, they don't mind it at all. Normally it is best to just spray their ears. They cool their blood through their ears.
