Most of the guys my age are my height or shortter and almost all my girlfriends are shorrter. I always slouch and I hate being tall!! WHat can i do to boost my self confidence?

Girl, embrace it. I was very tall at younger ages and always disliked it but now that I look back, I would love to be your size even at that age. When you get older, like 16 or 17, you're really going to love it because all the boys will have hit growth spurts and you'll be a perfect size with probably long lovely legs. Don't worry, tall people always look beautiful and better for some reason and I even read something about them being more successful which sounds strange but they were more likely to be picked for jobs and such so being tall just radiates beauty in my opinion. You should really think about joining sports though. Volleyball would be great because you're so tall already and you might get a little taller and it's such an advanatge or basketball and both will tone up your body really well too. Don't slouch though. It becomes habit and then when you are happy with your height your posture will not let you look as great as you can. Be happy with that height though, I'm 5'7 right now and 17 and would give anything to be a little taller lol.
Wow, I just read everyone else response and it seems they beat me to telling you how great being tall will be so sorry if my answer was a bit repetitive.

Give it a few more years, girl - you are going to love it. All the boys will catch up, you'll see. Most of my guy friends love tall girls (figures, I'm short as all get out, LOL!) For a big confidence booster, have your mom take you to see a modeling agent. Even if you're not into that type of thing, you'll learn very quickly how valued height is in that industry. No more slouching; stand tall and beautiful ;o)

trust me, girls will catch up a little and being tall is good. try to have better posture and not slouch as much but besides that just be more confident, see how other ppl ur height act. don't be mad cuz ur tall, it's really not that tall, u pretty much r growing at a normal rate so don't make a big deal about it.

All of the super models are at least 5'8" Do not slouch. You will ruin your posture and clothes will not look right on you. Be proud of your height. You will get attention and admiration. My daughter is 6' tall. She modelled when she was in HS and college. She is now the VP of a corporation and everyone pays attention when she walks into a room.
Be proud! You are very lucky.

i know exactly how you feel. I'm 5'8 and im 16 and i'm taller than all my girlfriends. when i was your age i was way taller than all the boys. I use to care but, now i love being tall. Being tall is beautiful. whenever someone comments on how tall i am i say yeah i want to be taller. You cant let it get to you. Its just something thats not as common at your age to be really tall. embrace it, i wear heels everyday and let me tell you guys love how tall i am.

Be proud. You can do alot more when you're taller. Plus all the guys will catch up to you in a year or two. Try taking a modeling class. That could boost your confidence.

Kentucky has a 'near in age' provision, making it authorized for a 14 year historical to have intercourse with someone below 19 , so truthfully it's authorized. None of the solutions above it appears learn the legislation.

WORK IT GIRL!!!!!!!!! Just know that you are tall enough to be a supermodel. By the time you are 16 all the other girls will be so jealous of you and the guys will get taller too!
That's awesome. I am 5'8" too and I love it.
Don't be self concious at all. Trust me, you are going to learn to love your height and all it's glory!!!!!!!!!! Maybe not now, but eventually...

I wish I was that tall. Im only 5'3" and 24 years old!!! It really sucks! People never think Im this age, they always guess 16 or 17. Believe me you'll love being that tall when you get to be an adult!

make sure you were flat shoes all the time... this way you wont be any taller.. also try to see if you can make some newer friends that are your hight this way you will feel you fit in more... the others will be growing soon dont worry.. everyone gows at different speeds and boys grow a lot slower than girls

also being tall has its goods modles are all tall there are not many small ones... i wish i could modle but im only 5'2 which is a little short
