Yesterday I was instant messaging with some people and I initiated photo share that lasted only a few minutes I have few photos. When we were done I x out of photo share and continued to chat about five min later I had to leave and signed out of messenger a window popped up and said even though I signed out files will still be transferring what was that about can some one hack in to my computer throw messenger? I do have a fire wall but now nothing about it my brother is the computer guy I’m a tradesmen

You did not mention your operating system. If you are using XP you have a firewall pre-installed [one way]
Otherwise go to majorgeeks.com select Firewall and scroll to Zone Alarm. Click on name and then download, following prompts. It's free and very good.
I would not spend 10 seconds on the net without one..

when you use photo share you give the person on the other end the opportunity to save the pics you are showing them
what that means is even though you shut down the photo share they were still copying them and it wasn't finished. no one was hacking your computer. its all normal.
