I mean their most valued critic, "The Market" is siding with the Liberals, from hybrid cars to fuel effecient planes.

What, so many conservatives don't believe that, "We Should Let the Market Decide". LMAO

Absolutely. That pack of ignorant savages are seething at the seams. The Corporate America thugs who support them have already threatened to reduce funds if they can't get results. They've spent millions on dis-information groups to discredit and despoil the truth. Just like many have started "jumping ship" on the Iraq debacle...Soon you'll see them start abandoning their Fuhrer on the global warming issue.

Once more...Even if some of it could be blamed as cyclical, Why would you throw gas on a burning house? Common sense should tell anyone to try quenching the flames rather than feeding the fire. DUUHH! It should be a no-brainer and it is. The Conservatives have no brains by denouncing the obvious.

The most valued critic as you put it, had better be the American people. Morons in BOTH parties better come to realize that.
There is no "Climate Change Debate" affecting the "Market".
If you really believe that, you've got a lot to learn about Wall Street.
Many consumers purchase hybrid cars, not based on politics, but because shelling out $75- $100 dollars at the pump is just plain ridiculous. Most people cannot afford to pay five or six hundred dollars a month on gasoline. Therefore purchasing a fuel efficient car makes sense from a monetary standpoint. If it makes the Green People and Al Gore happy, then so be it.

Conservatives are NOT losing the Climate Change debate. There is No debate, clearly the climate is changing as it has for eons upon eons.
The left will seize upon any excuse to destroy the American economy, whether it is a hole in the ozone, the spotted owl, or so-called global warming. The hole in the ozone was to try to destroy the auto industry, the spotted owl was an attempt to destroy the timber industry, and now the global warming issue is an attempt to destroy ANY western industry.
Science keeps finding evidence that the climate is cyclic, but the left never debates, but merely repeats its mantra on and on without reason.
The most recent evidence is that Greenland used to have trees. In recorded history, England grew wine grapes, and the little ice age about 200 years ago featured ice and snow in July and August.
The left is the angry crowd, not the conservatives. Usually people caught in a lie get angry, while honest people merely try to correct the misunderstanding.

this conservative has been conserving for i would bet longer than most of those most valued you talk about.
And conservation and climate change are two different things.
Just because people are conserving doesnt mean that the sky is falling crowd is right. It means people are sheep.

I conserve because it saves me money and as an additional effect is also good for the environment.

I am a Conservative and I am only angry with extreme LEFTIST MARXIST, SOCIALISTS that try to use natural climate change as an excuse to institute TOTALITARIAN projects designed to SUPPRESS FREEDOM and gain PERSONAL POWER!
Climate change is a fact.
Blaming man for it is EXAGGERATED and based on SPECIOUS arguments.
Big Business doing the necessary research required to design better products that are good for the environment is a CONSERVATIVE way of handling problems.
Business will deal with it!
The GOVERNMENT must stay uot of it and will only make an EXPENSIVE, OVER-REGULATED, FOULED-UP MESS out of it!
Being a conservative, I believe in conserving the environment, conserving resources and I know that those who WASTE resources are NOT Conservative!

I'm certainly not angry. I've been conserving for many years and would think that other people would be responsible enough to value our environment also.

I plant trees, conserve on fuel and do more than many people I know.

I do believe that we're having global warming, but do not buy into the Al Gore hype. As far as I'm concerned this is a cycle caused by mother nature.

Regardless, we should all respect the world that we live in.

Early in the 20th century the catchphrase was eugenics. The polluting and degredation of the gene pool was top priority. The nazi's made that go out of fashion real quick.

Next it was the impending ice age. After a decade or so of no glaciers in downtown New York it went out of style.

Today it's global warming.

Anyone see the trend yet?

10-15 years from now it will be something else. Conservatives aren't angry, we just don't care to get worked up over this stuff anymore. You think the mass market jumping on the bandwagon is proof? They're just in it to profit off the latest rage, same as they have always done. Have fun saving the world.

I know they are happy that this is ACTUALLY being debated. Seems to many liberals like Pelosi say "it is my way or no way" we thought they forget the meaning of the word debate and compromise!

Nope. The joke's on the extreme environmentalists! Big Business is cashing in on the gimmick. (These people HATE big business...their agenda is centered around destroying capitalism). See my question RE: Dell computers.

Conserving is a good thing, especially for local pollution. But to say it is causing global climate change is ridiculous. If that is true then why is Mars warming also? The evidence is mounting. Most people are listening to the science of people whose lively hood depends on the grants they get to study this stuff. They aren't going to report anything that will interfere with their cash cow.
