some guy thought it to be a good idea to post a sexual comment on an Ebay feedback follow up comment... Ebay removed the comment all right, but the guy still didn't see any consequences of his wrongdoing... what can there be done from outside the us being non-us citizen ?

From a practicable matter, very little can be done. If the guy only has assets in the U.S., you're going to eventually have to come to a U.S. court if you want to collect. Unless you are prepared to do so from the beginning it is going to be tough.

Close your account, open another one with different name. I sure think he probably knows now what he has done, since it has been removed. Stop looking for some little something to sue over. This thing happens a lot when we are on the Internet posting in different sites. If we sue for every little thing that happens to us , we would spend our entire life in court, when we could be enjoying our life. For get it, stop whining.

You can sue a citizen of the United States in most international jurisdictions - however since most Americans don't keep money in Europe - it would be hard to collect.

Lighten up and stop suing people for hurt feelings.

The civil court system is already a three ring circus of shady lawyers and greedy money grubbers like you.

One bad deed does not warrant another.

First you would need to be able to prove actual enumerated damages because of the posting. "It hurt my feelings" or "it made me feel bad" or even "If people read it I might have lost sales" won't cut it.
