There are a few agents that may be closed to submissions...not looking for new clients. However, how many have you looked at? I suggest you go to the public library and get the Literary Market place reference book and research some agents that accept submissions on plays or screenplays, etc. You can't just send a query letter without knowing what the agent is looking for. You'll come across as an amateur if you do. Do your homework. Research the agents and see what they're looking for and how they expect a writer to send them a submission. First you'd better have a completed and polished script (be it for TV, movie or stage).

Good luck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's the *agent* that you have to be solicited for. Usually, you send your work along with a query letter to an agent, and they they're the ones that solicit it to the publisher. Lots of publishers don't accept unsolicited work, but the agents are the ones that solicit it for you.

So, why would you need someone to solicit stuff to an agent so that they can solicit stuff to a publisher? As far as I know, it's the publisher that doesn't accept unsolicited work, and the agent who is the solicitor.

I hope your script is better written than your question.
If you find an agent accepting unsolicited material, and your script is as poorly written as your question, the "brilliance" of your script will be irrelevant.

Poor English skills is a major reason scripts are rejected.

I just sent out 7 queries to different publishers. So far I have received 4 letters back stating none are accepting new material. All wrote that they will not accept an unsolicited manuscript. Good luck.

Many brokers do no longer settle for unsolicited fabric. they are to blame for looking projects for his or her clientele. attempt to get a Literary Agent. he or she would be waiting to place up the script to Sissy's agent.

I don't think anyone accepts unsolicited material. It helps weed out the rubbish if they don't. :) Good luck, and get yourself an agent.
