Do we have to limit ourselves to D1? If so, I think I'll have to go with Big Ten (I'm a homer) and...ooh, here's a tough one- what's my second favorite conference? Certainly not the Big XII, which really only exists in competitive fashion in the South (at least, for now), not the SEC (loud fans, lack of academic standards except for Vandy), not the Big East (boring and small), not the Pac-10 (Big Ten Rose Bowl rivalry), or the ACC (FSU and Miami? puh-leeze!). Having eliminated the other BCS conferences, I'll have to go with the WAC. I still think it's crazy that Hawaii plays big-time college football, Fresno St.'s game vs. USC impressed me tremendously, and of course, I loved Boise St. in the Fiesta Bowl last year.
However, if I'm not restricted to DI-A, then I'll pick the MIAC as my second favorite since my best friend plays wideout there, and they're home to the perennial D3 powerhouse of St. John's, headed by John Gagliardi, the winningest coach of all time.

The SEC is my favorite conference. ACC is my second favorite in college football. The reason being pretty much the same as my reason for liking the SEC, which is because of the location of the schools that I like. I'm pretty much a "homer", by me living in the southeastern part of the country.

I will go with the PAC 10, because of were I live, my second favorite is the WAC for the same reason, plus who can not love Boise St after the Fiesta Bowl. I mean who can not love Boise St other than Sooners fans.

i think ur talking about divisions because theres only two conferences- the AFC and NFC.
My favorite division is the NFC East because the Redskins, my favorite team are in there and there are historic rivalries like the Cowboys and Redskins, Eagles and Cowboys, Giants and Eagles, Giants and Redskins. My second favorite is the AFC North because they play great defense and its always good to see them play each other.

I hope this is COLLEGE because and don't care enough with Division 1 to name them. If you meant Pros then my second favorite Conference would be the NFC.
