You are a very weird person, but you offer up some good points.

Fact is, MM plays fast and loose with facts.

In the making of his movie, Moore took his cameras to Cuba but, alas, failed to mention that, according to The World Health Organization, the health system in the USA is better than in Fidel's socialist paradise. I'm sure Moore's oversight was accidental.

The same pattern repeats itself in his other movies.

Since the American public usually accepts what it sees without questioning it, perceptions easily become the new reality...and don't let the facts get in the way of a good story!

What is it with you anyway? So if Michael Moore uses stupid things called "facts" and is unpatriotic for it, does that mean people like you who "lie" are actually patriotic. By the way, Michael Moore is allowed to voice his opinion because constitutional law allows him to do so with his First Amendment rights of Freedom of Speech. Just like you posing a question not making any sense at all. By the way, all liberals are not gay and all conservatives are not straight. Stereotyping will get you nowhere.

When you MANIPULATE facts and statistics to suit your OWN personal agenda, then you are correct, they become invalid. Not overrated. If you interview 1000 residents of Berkley, California and ask their position on the Bush Administration, you're going to come up with numbers that support the idea that nearly 100% of Americans do not support his administration, and you'd be correct. But to call those numbers a FACT would be inaccurate for obvious reasons.
As far as you being able to afford healthcare anytime you want, many of your fellow taxpayers might insist that it is not THEIR responsibility to pay for YOUR healthcare. Does this make you an Iraqi terrorist? Nah, maybe a drama queen, but not a terrorist. As far as all liberals being terrorists, I think most conservatives would agree that liberals are probably as FAR away as you can get from being terrorists.
Why is Michael Moore allowed to voice his opinions? Because Hundreds of thousands of brave men and women fought and died for his right to do EXACTLY that.
Instead of wasting all this energy on a deep-rooted anger directed at - I'm guessing conservatives - you might consider looking into ways where health insurance can be made more affordable, and become more active in groups that are pushing for tort reform and other changes to health care that benefit us ALL.

For the same reason, that we all are. The First Amendment.

While some of us question whether the facts Michael Moore states are true or manipulations made to prove his point, the fact remains that he is a talented filmmaker. And unless the Patriot Act makes it illegal, we are allowed to voice our opinions no matter how informed or uninformed they are.

God, I'm starting to sound like Sam Waterston.

I know this is rant is supposed to be a joke, but when fox news has a headline called "Is Universal Health Care a breeding ground for terrorism" (based on the British terrorist doctors being part of the NHS) and devotes programming to the possible link between universal health care and terrorism - than its easy to see why the above posters thought you were serious.

Michael Moore is very patriotic...It is our right to demand an honest government...he is bringing it to the public attention... too long have those with the power that be told us..." I will do whatever's necessary to protect the American people" "snicker snicker..." "bug their phones"... or " Health Care wil be my priority" I am a Veteran, enlisted 1970, when I was discharged I was told I would have free medical for life...Ha Ha...thanks Mr President...now I co-pay for scripts as well as treatments at the Houston VA... The Government has to be 100% accountable to the American people...this will not happen as long as the people are silent..."the squeaky wheel gets the grease"...The Declaration starts out " We The People"...not "We The Sheeple"

As an atheist, I don't understand why other atheists (people who claim to be skeptics about religion) are not skeptical about other propaganda that is fed to the general public.

Let me guess, the DNC must have sent the children out to attack Barbara Bush, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and of course President Bush complete with talking points. I have never seen such mindless attacks and rants.

Michael Moore wouldn't know a "fact" if it slapped the **** out of him. Ann Coulter is not some idiot comedian politician wanna be, she is a very accomplished author among other things. Oh, pick up one of her books sometime and study the footnotes, (yes she really uses them, and real facts). Grow up!
